Rear Axle Recall - Dodge, Chrysler, Ram

Rear axles locking up is never a good thing.

note the years: 2009 Dodge Durango and Chrysler Aspen, 2009-2011 Dodge Dakotas, and 2009-2012 RAM 1500s. basically, its affecting the stuff built at the tail end of the Cerberus Capital Management era, During the Bankruptcy, and the very Beginning of the Fiat Era.

I'm sure Chrysler gets their axles from a vendor like everyone else, so it is likely a supplier problem and not anything do do with Fiat being any better than the others.

Exactly......Can't really blame a company because their supplier has an issue. Happens to everybody, not just Chrysler.
