Haha, it's just a joke man but the sad part is it's not to far from the truth. I could seriously see this being proposed. Luckily their stupid little soda ban just shot down. It's to bad, New York is a wonderful state being poisoned by that crap hole of that city.

Other provisions of the DRIVE Act include,

— Enhanced Driving
Record checks to ensure those who have committed a vehicular crime in
the past no longer have access to their weapon of choice.

— Bans on spoilers, low profile tires, ground effects kits, and the color red. In addition to many other speed enhancements.

— Bans on tinted windows for concealed occupant carry.


— Passenger limits of four persons per vehicle. Current vehicle
capacity is exempted under the regulations as long as no more than four
persons are loaded into the vehicle.

— Bans on passenger vehicles with a curb weight exceeding 4,000 lbs or more than 200 horsepower.

— Bans on commercial pickup trucks with greater than a half-ton bed capacity or greater than 400 foot-pounds of torque.

— Along with mandatory reporting of "large quantity" fuel purchases that could indicate use for illegal activity.

this is a joke, but it is the same screwed up "logic" put forth in this that is used for other bans such as gun bans and the, stopped for now, soda ban. The sad thing is NYC and bloomberg are taking their influence to other states, i.e. Colorado.

Seems like people are FINALLY starting to wake up a bit.

 

My wife if from Brooklyn NY and we go to visit her family every few weeks. Some people in the city are totally out of their minds to the point you would not believe. Pretty scary actually.

I know it is a joke but others don't, read through the comments after the article, people are totally insane with anger over this. Funny that these are the same people aggressively going after our guns. Hilarious when you see the obvious hypocrites, take something they enjoy away and all hell breaks loose but if it is not something they want then screw it, it should be banned.

 

I bet if someone drove a loaded tractor trailor into an elementary school at 70 MPH it would be devistating too, better ban those.
