Suburban tire air pressure

Since I replaced my 17" wheels with 18" Z71 wheels on my 13' Suburban, I'm wondering what other Z71 Suburban owners run for air pressure in their 18" wheels and what the door sticker reads. The factory 17's I had called for 30 PSI (door sticker).

I ran 35 in my truck with the stock tires.

I have the 20" wheels on my Avalanche, and the truck was delivered with 35 psi in them according to the readings on the sensors.

The door sticker only gives a recommendation based on stock tire brand and size. What does your tires say is max psi? Anything below that is ok. I usually run about 4-5 psi under what the tires say is max psi.

A common misconception unfortunately is that people think they fill the tires to the max of what the tire says on it, actually its what it says on the door. Although certain conditions warrant more or less, its good that you are asking instead of pumping them right up then wondering why they wore funny.

My tires can go all the way to 50psi, but i run 35psi.

If you had tires on a 1/2 ton that went to 80psi you wouldn't run around 80psi all the time would you?
