Just curious, are the 2013 extended cab 2500hd assembled in Michigan or elsewhere?

Extended cabs are generally built in Flint. You can check inside the driver door for the UAW plant sticker to be sure.

You have a VIN yet? You can tell by that too. There is also a way to check production status, or at least there was. Let me look for that thread.

I haven't asked the dealer for it. Kind of a funny story. I went to a GMC dealer back in February just to look around and see what was in stock. They had nothing that I was interested in so I was about to leave when the sales manager approached me and said what would you like to have. I went through all of the options, color and model. He said that he'd order it for stock and if I wanted it when it came in, it would be mine. I said as long as you don't have a problem if I decide I cant afford it then and cant get it you would be upset. He said no problem ( I even kept the emails just incase he denies it). I sent him a email Monday and asked if he indeed ordered it or decided against it since I haven't heard from him in 9 weeks. He replied yes he did but had no idea why it wasn't here yet. He called his rep and was told the order was cancelled since it wasn't a sold truck. He called me in a panic and asked if I still had a copy of everything I wanted so he could confirm and get it reordered before the 14 started. With all of that being said I really don't want to act too excited so that maybe it will work into my favor in the closing cost since from the time we first talked to when it should be here will be 12 weeks or so.
