Rear Differential Change (6.2L)

No big deal I just assumed since your gasket was reusable that they all would be, but the more I thought about it the more I figured that I should check for sure since my rear end is different. I called my local dealer today and ordered one. Cost me $10 and change. I'll post the part number up when I get it for future reference.

That's what I thought too. I heard some guys on other forums were paying around $30 for one.

Got my gasket today. Here's a picture of the gasket and numbers if anyone ever needs to order one.

It's the same gasket and p/n as all previous trucks with any version of the 9.5" semi floater from 1979 on. Too bad really..... would be cool if they made an actual reusable gasket like the transmission pans.
