I have a 2007 gmt 900 so the current body style gmc sierra 5.3. Just bought a catch can, from what I have seen on the threads so far, is that it hooks up to the drivers side valve cover, and the other hose goes to the top of the intake manifold (under the large plastic vortec cover, top of engine) is this correct? I see some guys are talking about something on the passenger side valve cover....?

any links to good detailed install? pics?

What brand is it? I just put an RX catch can on my camaro. I have a PDF file that shows the install. Email me at [email protected] and I can send.

Oil catch can.

Simple answer.... it separates oil out of the PCV line before it hits the intake manifold. Installed in line between the PCV or fixed orifice and the intake

If you install one, I guarantee you'll be surprised at what it collects in a short time.

Sometimes, it's best not to know.

Here's an updated picture to show a better way to position the hoses for more clearance:

Big, is that on your Tahoe or Sierra? I'm in Columbus, so not far probably.
