Random part and rattle in the cab.

Recently when I am under low acceleration In my truck there is a rattle that sounds like its coming from around the gas peddle or just above it. I'm pretty sure it isn't coming from the engine. I crawled under for a moment to see if I could find anything off the bat. I didn't find anything that was rattleing but I didn't look very hard, but I did find a thing hanging down that looks like it should be plugged into something. It has two wires a green one with a white stripe and a black one.

It doesn't look familiar. I looked under the hood of my truck and didn't see anything similar. It looks there's a readable part number on it. Have you searched it up?

I did a quick search through the electrical schematics in my Chilton manual and the only item I could find with that particular color of wiring is a part used in the A/C system.

 

What's the part number?

It kinda looks like an old MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor but that would be on the engine.

did you find it hanging up under the dash or was it in the engine bay?
