oil pressure gauge in a 2011 LS

I have a 2011 cc 4x4 4.8L base model. It has just the basic cluster on the dash spedo. Tach. Fuel and water temp. I'd like to have oil pressure and volt as well. But instead of buying a new cluster I want to add after market gauges. I've heard buying a 6 gauge cluster is just plug and play. So if I bough my own gauge would I be able to run off the oil pressure sending unit or is there even one on my truck?

Your truck will have one but I can't say if it'll be compatible with an aftermarket gauge. Without looking at a diagram I can't be sure but generally I think the sending unit goes to the PCM and then a signal is sent to the cluster so it is more complicated than it once was.
