I vote for a 2" AAL. Get the lift and keep it more level when loaded. I put one on my truck and it actually got me 2 1/2" after it settled. I sint like the idea of taller blocks because of added axel wrap, especially with jackrabbit starts with taller tires. Just my $.02

IMO, not much at all. Some people say they ride rough, but i dont notice it. But, i understand that its a truck. Some people want a 4wd to ride like a Coupe DeVille but it aint gonna happen. I also drive some of the roughest roads in Tx, so its hard to tell whats the road and whats just the suspension. That being said, my wife doesnt complain about it either. My truck wont ride like her tahoe, but its not uncomfortable.

I also have heavy duty shocks in front and load helping coilovers in the rear and the ride still isnt terrible for me.

I don't mind a little of a rough ride I just don't want it to feel like I'm on a gravel road going down the freeway. I can't find any different kits as far as a size difference. Zone just has an AAL kit. Would that be the same that you mentioned?

You'll be fine. I have 2500HD springs on my 1500 and it still rides smooth. Is way nicer while hauling and towing too

Im not familiar with the kit you are looking at, but most all AAL springs are pretty much the same. I have Tuff Country keys and springs on mine. On good road, there is no noticeable difference in ride over stock spring packs.

Looks level to me... :dunno: I wouldn't go over a 4" block though or you're going to have too much rake. If it were me, I'd leave it alone or go with a 3" block. What are the front and rear fender measurements?

It's about half an inch off. I can't measure it at the moment because our driveway is slanted pretty good. But measurements at work (where the picture was taken) its about a half inch off. It has an equivalent of a 3" block right now.

IMO a half inch rake is no rake at all. I would consider anything under an inch to be leveled.

Is the front .5" higher or lower? I would consider .5" higher in the front to be leveled.

The front is .5" higher than rear. If the rear was .5" higher than front I would be okay with it.

It's level then. Leave it alone. My truck is 1" higher in the front and IMO due to the body lines on the trucks they look level this way.

If it bothers you, your options would be to get a taller block, or add an AAL and a correct block to net you whatever lift you want.

Again, Im gonna suggest the AAL because in my little brain, adding taller blocks is just asking for more axel wrap and fatigue on your springs. It may just be a negligible amount of wear, but I feel better knowing that I don't have that problem to worry about. Ide rather decrease wrap by increasing spring stiffness, rather than keeping the same spring rate and increasing leverage on the springs to wrap, thus increasing the wear. Again, it may not be enough wear to worry about, but its piece of mind.
