obfirefighter22 Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Got the tires put on a few days ago. Tires are 275/70R18 Toyo Open Country M/T. I also have a RC 2.5 leveling kit, with the rear blocks that came with the kit installed(some people didn't use them). 2

How did you get the insets of your rims and the bowtie painted black? Plastidip, regular paint, vinyl? Been wanting to do something similar to mine.
CptMcSaug Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 I know my 295/55/20s barely rub the liner with my 12+mm offset with 2" level. Thinking about adding the other .5"

jeffsig Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Had my RC 2" installed last week with an alignment. Steering feels more "airy" and not as tight but works fine. Normal?

So what I did was tape them off, spray a real think coat and before it dries(like as soon as my finger leaves the spray can) peel the tape.

How long did it take you? They look great man!

I did make a templet that I moved from each wheel that blocked off a lot. I then just had to do the fine taping. Once I got the hang of it it wasn't bad. I also did it more than needed cause I would have to redo from it peeling. But again the key to it is heavy spray and peel when it's still wheel.

obfirefighter22 Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 I know there is a kit on ebay for the wheels. Sent from Tapatalk App - Samsung S6 I was curious about eBay having them. I found where you can get stick on cover for the bow tie on the wheel. Is that what you meant? I didn't see anything for the unsets.
Aldila Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Wheels look real nice. Any close up pics of them? How's your mpg with the toyo muds? 5.3 or 6.2 motor?
