Thanks everyone. It was a pain to take off the valence. There's about 20 screws that hold it together.

Hey GP,

How do you like the Cooper ATP's? I have a 2013 that I ditched the Goodyears for after 5k miles and went with the ATP's in the same size. They look awesome, but my ride seems to be a bit more harsh (I know an a/t is going to ride a little more solid than a street tire). Do you notice a ride quality difference between the two?

Has your fuel economy been affected much? Plan on doing the same lift and tire size, but keeping the valance.

Before and after. I also took off that horrible bumper valence. It looks a whole lot better IMO. I got the cooper ATP 275 60 20 and the rough country leveling kit.

Nice truck! I'll have my eye out for you on the road. I wont be able to miss it since we almost look the same. I took the lower valance off also

Very nice! Can you link me to the leveling kit you used? I looked and there are multiple kits on their website.

Thanks

I'm convinced the best mod for the K2XX and the GMT900's is the combo of a level kit and removing the air dam. Good looking truck.

Have u noticed any decrease in gas mileage after removing the valance? What leveling kit did u go with?

Will it hurt anything taking that bumper valance off? I just can't see what it's for. I don't do any muddling or anything, so I'm thinking of taking mine off, but trying to find the pros and cons.

No, it will not hurt anything to take your valance off. Technically it is there for aerodynamics but who needs that?! Looks better without it too!

Also he never said what leveling kit or how much lift it was. I love the way this truck looks. I was thinking about doing a 2inch lift in front. Will that get the job done? I don't want it to have that saggy butt look. This truck is perfect!
