I like all manner of finishes for wheels and couldn't care less what someone uses their truck for. My truck is mainly used to take up space in my garage. Come at me... :jester:

This wheel trend has to stop asap imo, it looks cheap. No offense. :)

Agreed. I've never been a fan of the 'bolts' on the rim unless they're on a rock crawler.

Saw these on a local truck with black centers and milled legs which looked fantastic. They weren't chrome like this pic of course.new-2014-gmc-sierra-back-side.jpg

I personally feel like chrome is out dated. That is why I bought black rims.

I agree. That's why I got the appearance package and then changed the rims. My plan is to eventually have only two colors on my truck....black and gray.

Oh yeah. My truck does "pose" for a lot of pictures too! :pimp:

:rollin:

That's alright, it looks good in those pics! I've learned over the last few days that any wheel over 18" or black in color is "ghetto"... :nonod::troll:

Bling bling! Don't forget that they defeat the purpose of lifting a truck and the ride is rougher. :lurk:

I think some of the chrome wheels look ok on the k2 trucks. I really didn't like any of them on the 900's. I felt like they looked cheesy.

Looking at getting new wheels maybe after winter I like the look of OE's but they're starting to leak a lot,

I have to have them broke down after about 10k and have the beads cleaned and resealed, Winters

in N. E. Ohio are not kind to alloy wheels last time they said the beads are getting pitted pretty bad.

With that being said I don't know what to get I like the Monsters, Revolvers or Moto's there so many out

there...... hard to decide.

My advice is to buy a newer/fresher wheel. Monsters and Revolvers are passed their prime. You'll stay satisfied longer this way.

Don't get Monsters, they were played out three years ago. I'm not knocking them, because I used to have them under my truck. However, those MM 962's are nice IMO.

Im looking at 20's with 37's wrapped around them. Looks good, plus there is still plenty of sidewall. Not gonna lie, I was considering 22's as well. It has to work with your truck of course...

Look at the pic this guy has of his 20's and 37's, IMO it looks good

I agree, it looks great. 22's and 37's also looks good IMO, but 22's and 35's just isn't enough sidewall for me.

Yeah since 35 is the most common lift tire I understand. I never really liked big wheels until lately when ive been looking at 37's and I also got to let my brakes breathe a bit more since its gotta stop those heavy ass wheels and tires and truck and cargo and trailer haha. I think a 20" is probably the way I'll go. 22's are about a $1000 more between tires and wheels
