I got most of the way thru the install until this part: (can't find that MID-BEC 50 pin black connector)

8. Identify the Mid-BEC 50 pin BLACK connector (3).

9. In the BLACK connector (3) find the WHITE/VIOLET wire in cavity 17, slide the TPA out of the way and remove terminal. Cavity numbering shows the mating face of the connector (NOT the side of connector where the wires enter the cavities).

MID-Bec%2050%20pin_zpsadnyijgl.gif

The graphic above shows the following operation, where the graphic shows the back of the connector (2).

10. Cut off the removed terminal (1). Doesn't make sense as it looks like its from the main harness
11. Strip/Insert/Crimp the wire (6) in pink splice barrel (5) connected to the WHITE wire (4) on accessory interior harness.

12. Use heat to shrink the splice barrel around the wires.

I've got the instructions if anyone needs or can decypher them for the jumper harness install

13. Insert the accessory harness terminal (3), also on a WHITE wire, into cavity 17.

I need the instructions! Did you get this figured out? My mirrors are installed as well as the door harnesses. Just this RZY harness to go and I don't have the instructions.

I tried ordering a set of tow mirrors from am-autoparts and they cancelled my order. They said they weren't a 100% match for my 06 yukon xl with DL3 mirrors. At first their e-mail response indicated that they wanted to make sure the mirrors were correct. I replied with references to several posts on this site about people who have done this very same switch. They replied with a form letter repeating that its not a 100% match and saying a refund would be issued within 3-5 business days.

Looks like I'll be spending my money elsewhere. It appears that 1a auto has the exact same listing for the mirrors. Has anyone else used 1 a autos tow mirrors to replace DL3 Mirrors with curb assist and memory even though the description says not compatible with those two options?

I have heated, turn signals, power adjust and power fold. What tow mirror part numbers would be plug and play and have ALL the same options?

currently have power and heat only options, what mirrors/part #'s would align?

Hi all, first post.

I have done a ton of research on upgrade to tow mirrors for a 16 LT Z71 with heat/power adjust mirrors. I bought and installed the following:

1 x 2016 Silverado 1500 Driver Door Mirror Harness 23372181-82 (23342729)

1 x 2016 Silverado 1500 Trailering Mirrors, Manual, Extendable, Black (23372182)
1 x 2016 Sierra 1500 Passenger Door Mirror Harness 23372181-82 (23342715)

I got everything installed - checked all of the new functions (marker lights, signal, LED cargo lights) and everything checked out. I assumed (big mistake) that everything was good to go and re-installed both door panels and got everything buttoned up.

First time driving i noticed the power adjust (pre-existing feature) was not working at all on the passenger side and only moving driver side up/down, not getting any left/right.

I haven't seen this issue pop up - in the threads I have read. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be/possible solutions?

Thank you!

Good info as I have hr same setup and I'm looking to make the change.

Does the heating function work?

I hope you find resolve to the issues, sounds like a minor problem with the harness alignment (power to some options not others). Check and see if all pins line up in the harness connector to what exists. Maybe someone has a wire diagram explaining which colour corresponds with what function.

If you have a copy in the instructions, you will see that they show the junction block to the left of the brake pedal bolted to the firewall. Gotta unbolt it, and the connector is on the back side of the junction block.
