Tow Mirrors

just got my tow mirrors installed on my 14 sierra 1500 along with all 3 required harnesses. everything works like it should but I am very disappointed that the cargo lights turn off when you put the truck in reverse. that was one of the key features I wanted was the side spots for backing the trailer up. Am I missing something or is that just the way they work?

I have a 2015 max tow and my lights stay on in reverse. Along with my factory led bed lighting

Does this site have a for sale section where I can offer to trade my mirrors for DL3 mirrors + cash. Is there a different site more geared towards this besides craigslist? Can I use either Chevy of GMC 2014-2015 DL3 mirrors?

i believe that was the only feature that they have not been able to figure out yet, honestly they don't work too great for that purpose. Attest from what I've seen using mine

what year is your truck? did you add the tow mirrors or were they stock?

Yeah i have a 2015 LTZ but i have the Max towing package so the mirrors are stock

I currently have the older style tow mirrors on and have drilled the extra mounting hole, Im looking at getting the 23372181 mirror kit which is manual fold and extend, so do i just have to plug the harnesses in and bolt them on? Do you know what part number harnesses you used? My RPO code is DL3 A45 which is power fold, auto dimming and memory. Thanks

aftermarket mirror bros. Where/who are you purchasing from. I'm searching ebay. I think these may be the ones I order, anyone already using mirrors from this selling??

They look identical to the GM mirrors I have. Glass and defrost work in mine without mods. Signal in glass does not work.

just got my tow mirrors and harness in. look great work great except. all functions work except for the marker lights and the white led lights. my trucks production date is 6/2014 Denali 2500 diesel. at this point should a reflash of the bcm get those working or should I hardwire them to work? Does anyone have clear pictures or wire schematic of the harness and mirror wires I would need to tap in to? Any help here would be great. thanks

gee I thought I would get some information here. does no one have a link to an install or a wiring diagram or perhaps just the answer hate to throw a $100 at my local stealership to find out there is no way to turn those lights on.

You are short one wiring harness. There is an additional jumper harness in addition to the two door harnesses on early build trucks (you have 6/14 as your build).
