So I am having the same problem as the first post in this thread. My presets disappeared. I called GM and they told me to drag them back up, just like described in this thread. I must be doing something wrong because that is not working. At the bottom of my screen, I have the voice button, then backward seek, pause, forward seek and the menu button. Whenever I touch the bottom part of the screen and swipe up, it just pushes the button closest to my finger instead of dragging my presets up. Am I missing something here?

Takes a special touch, my wife can get them to swipe up but I cannot. Must be my fat fingers.

That's definitely what I wanted to do. I couldn't get it to work nor could the wife. I ended up resetting to factory settings as someone earlier in the thread recommended and that worked. Happy the presets are back, but it shouldn't be that difficult.

Has anyone put a screen protector on their screens yet? I have not seen anyone post about this... I have screen protector material, like what we put on our phones and as soon as it warms up a bit we will be applying to the 14 Silverado, 13 Cruze and 12 Equinox.

Try swiping them up, but as soon as you see them begin to appear remove your finger. Mine just pop right up. If you touch the screen until they fully appear, they go away again. Took me a few times to get used to it.

Yep...I put a screen protector on mine. I'm a little disappointed that it made the display a shade darker but it's a cheap one that came from Ebay. I'll pull it off soon & put a better quality one on.

Here's what you need to do based on the install on my Denali that has the 8" screen with Navigation. Pull the trim piece off...I used a dull kitchen knife & began at a top corner. It comes off pretty easily. There are 4 bolts that hold the radio in...I believe they are 9/32"...take those out. Then, the radio has two friction clips...one on each side. It took me awhile to figure that out because you can't see them. You'll just need to pull on it with enough force to get it to pop out. Next, there are approx. 10 Torx screws that hold the screen on...I think they're #10. Take those out & you'll be able to work with the screen. There are two small ribbon connectors that I didn't take loose. I've never seen any like them so didn't fool with them. I had my wife hold the screen while I applied the screen saver. I then used a straight edge razor blade to trim it. Just go in reverse order to put it back together.

I like the fact that I can now safely use a screen saver cleaner & not worry about it. It's not as big of a job as you might expect.

The screen is actually a little larger than it looks like once you get it loose but if your screen protector doesn't cover it entirely, that's OK as long as it's centered as the trim will cover the edges. I'm probably going to get a Zagg Smudge Proof one for a tablet soon & put it on. I have one on my iPad mini & like it.

Hopefully an easy question: I assigned 45 of my presets but only want 15 of them. Anyone know how to delete the presets and start over??

Here's another dumb question. I have a 2015 GMC Sierra and want to move my preset stations around to different positions. Is that possible?

Why does my wife's 2012 $26k Equinox save the stations by the XM name (ie "Classic Rewind", "Classic Vinyl" etc), but on my 2014 $54k High Country I have to manually name them? Things that make you go hmmm....

I agree I had to do the same on my 14 LTZ. My 15 LTZ saves them by name though.

Here is another preset question:

I used to have about 55 presets including XM stations, Now I can only add a max of 18. it shows open places to add them, but will not let me add anymore. Any idea what to do? I'm going to try factory reset maybe, before taking it in.
