Found a dealer with a 2016 SLE All Terrain Crew Demo (3200 miles). Lowest they'll go while I can still use the 0% deal is 45,XXX, without the 0%, they'll drop down to $40,700.

If they could get down to $40,700 with 0% it'd be a done deal.

You can still do the $40,700 and finance through a local credit union. Around here they are 1.74% for 64 months. At that rate you wont pay the 5k more they want to charge you to get the 0% although honestly that price seems a little high still for an SLE with 3200 miles on it.

I'd like them to do a bit better on the price as well. Ideally, I want to keep my payment somewhere in the low to mid 400s. With about 10K positive equity in my trade, I think it's doable

Do any of the "buying gurus" mind sharing their tricks on how to walk out the dealership after buying a brand new truck feeling like a winner? :driving:

you always win at the end of a model year and DEFINITELY at the end of a body style year

I do all of mine online prior to even going to the dealership. You can get 5 or 6 out the door prices and then decide which one works best for you. This is easier with no trade in as they will not give you a firm price on trade until they see it. When I email them for price and they say come on down and talk about it, I simply tell them I am not interested in coming down and haggling and would like to know their best price before getting there. When you go there and try and haggle it is all games and you do not know what the dealer down the street could be doing for you, price wise, unless you went there and did the same thing all over again. I had to drive over 2 hours for my truck and many guys on here fly to Laura GMC so it is all what you are willing to do to get the best deal IMO.

In my opinion i would hold out. Black friday 20 % off is out this month. Back in 2014 ibought my all terrain sle for 34000 dollars and msrp was just under 47000. Alot of dealers try snd give just the rebate and keep all there profit because gm is the one taking the hit.

There are dealers that will give you more off you need to look around for the deals. I started by finding all terrains in yhe area by looking on gmc.com and then emailing the dealers for a quote. Then you can play them against each other.

Your deal sounds ok if it was the spring of the new model year. But its not. And yours is a demo.

I'm going to hold off on this one for now. Lots of other deals out there, I just need to find the right one for me. Unfortunately, no al terrain option for SLEs in 2017, and I just don't know if I can do the "carbon fiber" leather in the SLT.

The search continues.

20% bonus tag was a big help in me getting the deal I got on a 2016 Silverado LT double cab 4x4. 48k msrp, paid 34k for the truck and still was out the door with a new tag 10k under the msrp.

I just got $9,000 off MSRP on a 2017 All Terrain with 6.2. I'll post where as soon as I take delivery. Good enough for me and everything was done through email and over the phone. They are delivering too for an extra charge saving me 10 hours of driving.

Congrats!

2016 or 2017?

The fact that I have a trade also muddies the waters a bit.

If I was going for a color, primarily, which is offered all over the place, I would not care about shopping dealers against each other. But since I am looking for a color that is not very common (read not many 2016 examples are left out there), then it is not as easy to give them your number and say "take it or I walk"...

Secondly, I noticed these dealers have MSRPs made up left and right. Then try to dilute your trade in against that high MSRP and you lose the whole amount before you even touched a chance to discount the truck itself... such is life.

11,250 off on a 2016 2500 LTZ DMAX

$45-48k seem to be the going price right now on loaded LTZ and SLT's.
