6.0 problems

Hey guys I tried a search but only found the smaller v8 posts or not what I was after. I have a 2004 2500hd 6.0 with 4l80e , single 3" manga flow, volant cold air intake diablosport tuner rest is stock. I've had this problem for awhile but would go away after I would disconnect the battery for several hours. Today I took off the bed of my truck to fix one of my brake lines that had a pin hole shooting fluid out. I had the fuel fill hose disconnected, the breather hose and the ground. I tried starting the truck to pup the brakes to bleed the system after i fixed the brake line and I knew I shouldn't have. I ran rough then died. Now my truck won't idle at all after everything was hooked back up. Th truck drives fine when I cruise down the highyway. Other than when I let off the gas completely. Truck will die. By will star back up. It runs rough. For awhile then is fine as long as m on the gas. I have no codes reading. Before I cleared the computer I had a evaporative emissions code and a random misfire. What are some things I can check to fix my problem?

Sounds like a fuel supply problem, shoulda checked that pump while you had the bed off. Check the fuel pressure at idle, if there even is any.

I had replaced the fuel pump summer of 2012 i forgot to mention that. I'll check the fuel pressure and see where it's at. Thank you

For those wondering the problem went away. I left the battery unhooked over night, it drove half the day with no idle then started idling but rough. Now it's fine. Thanks for the reply. Ryan
