Pinstriping

Hey guys has anybody here put pinstripes on their truck using the stick on pinstripes from Autozone or any other auto parts store?

I did that years ago on a motorcycle helment. After a while, it curled along the edges. I don't know anything about this recent stuff.

My dad is always trying to stick red pinstripes on my truck. I don't like it personally. After a while it looks like crap, and peels.

Just say no to pinstripes.

I pinstripe for a living. Those stripes are OK and should work for what you want to do. Make sure the paint is super clean. After you wash it, spray Windex on the area you are striping and wipe it down. Make sure it is completely dry and at least 60 degrees or warmer. Do not over stretch the tape. That's the leading cause of it curling up. I striped my Denali and get a lot of compliments on it.
