Torsion bar confusion, need help!

Well something was bugging me ever since I installed my lift, My left torsion bar adjustment bolt was maxxed out while the passenger side was not even half way cranked. So I went and pulled my bars and swapped them side to side but it actually made it worse. Then I turned them around (still swapped sides) and same thing. Put them back in their normal spots and then turned them around again, but still nothing.

My stock bars are code YH, which have a torque rating of 5913. The bars I have in there now are GK which have a torque rating of 8615. I figured this would make a difference, because my stock bars were twisted. But I don't see how the bolt is maxxed out, with level keys!

Here is my actual question, Are the hex ends suppose to be flat with each other, end to end, or are they suppose to be offset on one side? Or maybe these bars just wont work with my truck? I want higher torque bars because I plan on getting one of those winch bumpers, without the winch part lol so I don't want to have to keep cranking it cause the bars are just too weak

Thanks all

I'm assuming they just aren't right for your truck, sounds like something is funky. I wouldn't worry about the bumper. Mine didn't pull the nose down or affect the ride, but it's only ~150 lbs

That's about how much the bumper I'm looking at weighs. Do you know the code of your torsion bars? Mine stock were YH and I miss the ride of it compared to the ones I installed about a year ago which were GK's

UPDATE: got a set of stock bars (code YH) and used my level keys to get it to the height I wanted. Stock keys would have worked but would have been maxxed out. These are alot softer too, much better ride. Front fenders now measure 49.5" and the rears at 48 7/8"
