SirenRed16 Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Sounds about right! RT I'm curious how easy it is to adjust the kit. Is it something you can do in your garage? I chatted with someone from Mcgaughys and they told me I would have to take the truck apart and do the changes then put it back together and get it aligned every time I adjust it. Is this true? Nasty Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 For the front you pull the struts out. And add or delete rings. The rear it's just a chackle adjustment and maybe hanger adjustment. It can be done in driveway

Bigaaronsrt Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Anyone running a 22 on the 5/7 or close drop? I am dropping down from my 24s to the 22s and I am just curious what tire size everyone is running. 1
Nasty Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 265 40 22 or better yet drop the rear another inch and run a 265 35 22.
Bigaaronsrt Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 265 40 22 or better yet drop the rear another inch and run a 265 35 22. Im already sitting pretty level so I don't really want to drop it anymore in the back. I honestly want to come up an inch in the back for when I pull my motorcycles.
Nasty Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I have helpers for that but if you're 5 in the front. A safe tire is the 35. But you can probably get away with 40 series

Bigaaronsrt Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/gab-49226/overview/ thought about trying these out for the price also
Nasty Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I personally don't like air shocks. But if that's what you want
Bigaaronsrt Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I just don't want to cough up the money for the helper bags right now. Ill be traveling a lot over the next 2 months and im being cheap haha
Nasty Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I'd just run it how it is now until you.can get the helpers. I have another wireless air management kit coming. So I'll be able to adjust the bags 1
