2014+ Power Tailgate Lock installed

Hi all,

 

Just brought home my new (to me) 2015 Silverado a little over a week ago and found this forum.  This was the first mod I wanted to make, and just wanted to say the instruction on this thread were great!  Took about an hour for me from start to finish.  Biggest help to me were the pictures of the actual wires and knowing that they were bigger wires than most in the bundle.  Hope that helps someone else!

Super old thread I know, but wanting to know if the wire colors are the same for 2019 year Silverado Crew cab.  If so, I am going for it later today.

Is your truck an LD or the new gen?
If it's an LD, same same, they are still K2s.
T1 trucks, I dunno.

Its a T1.  I can't find Brown with Yellow in the bundle.  I found a grey with green, but it does not seem to toggle when I cycle the unlock.

You might want to try the T1 forums, then.
