HID issue

Yes I read the HID thread.

 

So I ordered the DDM HID kit with the relay. I hooked everything up like the directions said. Lights work with truck off. I turn truck on and the lights come on and then start flickering. Both sides do this. Does this mean I need the error cancelers?

 

I have a '14 sierra SLT with the led drl's. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Yep, you need the capacitors / error cancelers. They will resolve the issue.

yes you could imagine my frustration when it didnt work properly.

 

also does anyone know what gauge wires DDM uses on their relay kit. i would like to cut and extend some of the wires because they are just not quite long enough for some of the plugs. i was very disappointed with that because it made it hard to hide all the wires and ballast.
