We have been 3 times now and will prob go back this year or next year. Freemont is pretty cool, as said the light show it neat (catch it before 10pm which is when it ends for the night). the casino's there are older but still can be fun.

not many casino's still use coins, most require dollar bills to be used to play.

you can make a full day of walking the strip alone easily, from the center it is almost a mile in each direction of casino's. bring your walking shoes, lots of people to see for sure. You will see lots of homeless people, they are generally harmless. Also you will see lots of flip/flip people (they hand out porn business cards for the call girls) they are harmless as well, just walk past them. Usually only see them on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

The Paris casino is cool, so is going up the Eiffel tower from what I was told. We did the roller coaster at New York New York, it was a blast.

If you plan on going to shows go to the half price ticket both (that is the name) and you can buy the left over tickets that didn't sell for half price. There is one just past the Paris casino and one down by the flamingo and one in the outlet mall as well.

Hoover damn is a blast as well, bring walking shoes on that one as well.

If you want to see the pawn shop from Pawn Stars it is down by Freemont street.

I am sure I can think of more if I sat down.

Always a good time, though I haven't been since 07 before my dad passed away. It's definitely on the list of places I want to take the wife.

If you want to do anything at the MGM you can sign up for the M Life card(it's free) and then you get discounts on shows and events there. My gf and I did the CSI thing and it was about half price when we used the M Life card.

Also, I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, but at the Outlet Malls, if you are a AMA member (CAA) you can get the discount brochure from customer service for free. I think it cost $30 normally if you want to get it. Both outlets have a different brochure so make sure to pick up either one depending what mall you go to.

The volcano show at the Mirage is awesome, also the at Treasure Island they have a great pirate show to watch from the strip.

Dinos is a good dive bar and it's on the strip.

The Gun Store, shoot full auto awesomeness.

Texas De Brazil is killer Brazilian BBQ.

Yayo taco. Little store with great tacos.

And never let a cab take I15 to and from the airport when downtown. It's a complete rip off. Take Paradise.
