My truck came with the GM rubber mats. The day after I bought my truck a winter storm blew through my area and dropped ~10" of snow. It became pretty clear that the factory rubber mats didn't cover enough of the carpet to keep the salt and slush contained. I was also concerned about the wear that might occur in the carpet around the dead pedal. I ordered the Weathertech mats and was impressed with the amount of coverage they provide, including covering the dead pedal and overlapping the adjacent plastic trim panels so water doesn't seep under them.

The only downside is somewhat of a catch-22. While I like the protection that the large rubber mats provide, I don't prefer the appearance of a (mostly) rubber floor. These will definitely be used in the winter or when I know I'll be tracking mud or moisture into the cab.

I'm not sure what the rules might be for this forum with regard to mentioning where I bought them or what I paid. However, I found them cheaper than even the discounted advertised price of the manufacturer (I think it was 10% off).

After taxes are paid, the next thing will be something to protect my bed and its contents. I'm leaning toward a Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite but I haven't decided between Line-x, Bedrug/Bedtred or maybe just a mat from Weathertech.

An option for those that want the floor tray style mats, but like the carpet look is the Extreme Catch all mats...similiar to the Weathertech but carpet. I had them in my Trailblazer. Like you, I have the Weathertechs in both my vehicles now, I like being able to rinse them off and not having to worry about spilling liquid on them.

I got both the front and rear set from truckaddons for $190 shipped.

I ordered the floor liners from WeatherTech on Monday. They still haven't shipped. Maybe there is a backorder? Still says they are processing the order.

I got my black liners in only a few days but I didn't get them directly from Weathertech.

I bought Weathertec for just the back area only. The only one who rides back there is the dog, so I put the seats up and then covered them with a twin size black sheet ($4.99 @ Walmart), and voila - Yellow Lab Proof!

I ordered weathertechs about a month ago and they said you have to allowed a few days for them to make the mats then they ship them..

I ordered my set from eBay I got a deal at 185 shipped I think.. Took 3 days and I love the mates. Highly recommend them to anyone the fit is legit. Also have the no drill mudflaps I hope to install tonight.

I have the fold-a-cover g4 elite and bedtred combo. Love it so far. only complaint is that the cover doesn't sit perfectly flat, but I think that's because I need to give it time (and warmer weather) to break in properly.

After taxes are paid, the next thing will be something to protect my bed and its contents. I'm leaning toward a Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite but I haven't decided between Line-x, Bedrug/Bedtred or maybe just a mat from Weathertech.

I have the G4 elite and the bed rug. I love the fold a cover !!!! The bed rug is great I keep and old vacuum cleaner and when ever it gets dirty I just vacuum it. Seems pretty tough a lot tougher than I would have thought.

That's why I like the Original Catch alls. they do the same thing, fit the same, and are carpet you just hose off.....

I was researching the Bedtred a little today. Do you have any insight on whether moisture is trapped once it gets under the rug? With it not actually being fabric, I'm concerned the moisture won't be able to evaporate through the rug.

haha! I am in the same market here with a yellow lab myself! Dog hair has been a huge issue, I'm glad to hear the weathetech mats have help, I will def be going this route

I suppose it's possible. Water could penetrate under the BedTred near the bulkhead, the seams, and the tailgate. I was thinking what little bit of water that did get under there wouldn't do any damage, and any huge amount would just be vacated through the same seams and drainage holes. I am not personally worried about it because I have the Fold-A-Cover installed so, while not water proof, too little water will get in there to worry about.

Even if water does get trapped under there, I don't care. Worst case scenario? BedTred gets totally mildewed and I have to rip it out, clean up the bed and put a new liner of some sort in. paint should protect it from rusting etc.

My G4 was the same after it was installed by the dealer. I called the company and he told me to adjust the latches at the front and rear I did that and after it warmed up and the rubber seals broke in it was fine. If the middle is not laying flat it could be not closing properly. The last panel toward the tailgate has to lay flat on the third panel until that is all the way down then you close the last panel to engage the center lock. Hope this makes sense.

Got the weathertech mats front and back and really like how they look and how they clean up... Highly recommended.. especially for black carpet interior like on my Sierra AT.
