I didn't need anything when I changed the back up and third brake lights to LED.

Wanted to checkout how much I was drawing from the USB ports on the console and what the output was as well, as some times it doesn't feel like my phone is keeping up with the usage vs charging when using AA

This reading is from all 4 USB ports in my center console, about 5.05v and then drops to 4.8-4.9v when connected to phone.

This one is from a Quick Charge 2.0 USB Car Charger in the cigarette lighter, but... can't use that when using AA... :(

And then I also picked up some error free LED reverse lights: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262844619667 since for $3 more, I get and extra set compared to Amazon, $10 for 2...

Liked how they turned out, pictures don't do the lights justice, definitely can tell the difference.

In reverse, halogen, phone cam isn't that great, but it's not really this dark with the stock reverse lights.. :D

Left - Halogen, Right - LED

Nice and bright, picture doesn't show the true brightness.. lol

post-170057-0-07884000-1499326570_thumb.jpg

With LED.. again, my phone cam sucks, but you can tell the difference from the one I attached with halogen.

I'll probably get some better pictures, as my driveway slopes so lighting kinda drops... too lazy to back it out to the cul-de-sac :D

On my trailblazer I installed LED turn signals and break lights. I only needed resisters for the turn signals so it didn't hyper-flash, break lights were fine without resisters.

Are they different on these trucks that you need a resister for LED break lights? I haven't really paid attention to the Sierra taillights if break and signal are a single bulb, hence the resister.

Ya the 4 lights all use the turn signal so I tried to just use one resisters but it didn't work.

It's strange also I had my driver side all done for about 2 weeks fine, and when I went to do the other side it made the left side hyper flash not really sure why but when I finished the passenger side it all worked good.

I've heard that resistors get hot to melt things and I'm really nervous to add these LEDs....

They get as hot as a light bulb so it's nothing crazy, there are two metal brackets behind the tai lights that are far enough back to put them behind with nothing for them to touch.

Recently had her detailed at a local shop. Full paint correction and Opticoat ceramic sealer. Look at that reflection on the door!! Damn! Also dropped the Diablo Tune and added a Black Bear Tune. There is a noticeable difference.

    • I understand that. The price is what it is, though. The price is what oil costs today, where our choices have led us, where supply is, and where demand is, in the market that is. Speculation is for futures, what we think the price will be, but with incomplete information at the time the price is forecast. I know you know this, but you appear to be intent on making a secondary point here about what you think the market could or should be, if only other choices.   In 1975 it became illegal to export US Crude. I'm conflicted on what the best answer is. Free markets allow export in pursuit of profit. But there is also a lot to gain by producing and consuming our own oil here. How do you reconcile it?
    • That sir is a choice. And even if it were not for all the reasons stated, this disruption has zero to do with the reality of the actual logistics and everything to do with the greed of SPECULATION. Spot price is irrelevant to reality.
    • What I think you're saying is there is supply here at home, and in Venezuela, and we could ease pricing if only it were favorable to do so.   Well, yes?   But that's not the current market. Supply isn't what could someday exist, if only, it's what producers are willing to produce and sell at a certain price point.   The national price of single family homes would come way down if we'd just slap together a few million homes this summer.   RAM and GPUs would get a lot cheaper if we just set up some factories to produce a bunch more and stopped using it to build out AI data centers.
    • The turn signal/multifunction switch is faulty.  I've seen a few of these go bad at work.
    • I am experiecing the same issue, I have gone in the setting and disabled rain sensing function but I am still experiencing this. Whe i use my turn signal they will redomly turn on. Sometime they stay on and others times we swipe 2 or 3 times and stop. Its super anoying, escpecially after a fresh wash. Anyone have any advice? . rain-sensing function, but I am still experiencing this issue Sometimes they stay on, and other times we swipe 2 or 3 times and stop. It's super annoying, especially after a fresh wash. When I use my turn signal, they will randomly turn on. I am experiencing the same issue. I have gone into the settings and disabled the rain sensing function, but I am still experiencing this.
