Mike - I did the plasti on my emblems too, so I know what you mean. On the caps, I was going to either tape off everything but the gold and spray it, or...color it w/ black paint marker as a last resort. They're so small, I don't really want to spend an hour cutting out tape to piece it around the bow tie before spraying.

I'll report back how it goes, when I'm able to do it (maybe not tonight).

What worked best for me when I debadged my 14 was the following: heat gun on low setting, dental floss and an eraser wheel on a power drill. It cleaned it up really nice, but make sure you dont over heat with the heat gun and make sure you dont press to hard in one spot with the eraser wheel, ive hear of people burning the paint/clear coat. I think this is the fastest safest way to get the 3M tape off.

I have completed my Dash Cam install: running a BlueSkysea G1

http://www.amazon.com/Black-Box-HD1080P-G1W-Novatek/dp/B00J2OVN74/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1405015602&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=Blueskysea+g1

which is relatively cheap and straight forward. I ran the power to the 120 volt plug on the dash and tucked the power wire up under the headliner, behind the pillar post and under the dash for a nice clean look. The camera powers on with the ignition and turns off when I shut the motor down, so I couldn't ask for more. Cheap insurance if a jerk pulls out in front of me or other mishaps as they occur.

I have the same one lol, works great and good quality. Haven't had time to run the wire through the pillar and headliner so I just have it hanging on there lol. Can you show me which wires you Wired it into on the ignition.

Really didn't wire into existing wiring, but used an adapter that most of us have for charging our cell phones. The ones that you plug the USB into and then plug into the wall... I used this one from my Kindle because the USB plugs into the bottom of the adapter. I zip tied the wire under the dash, ran it over to the driver side and up the A pillar.

Corwest, as soon as I can. Honestly, I haven't had a chance with family members visiting and not driving at night. I haven't forgotten you, buddy.

What camera are you using for your dash cam block8head?

I agree that the guy in the Grand Am was not paying attention but your dash cam shows how they don't have the cross street lights properly masked. On a nasty rainy or snowy night a lesser being could make a fatal mistake!

Is this it and what cable for power source did you get?

Is this also the same price paid?

Little steep in price but insurance will love this if someone hits my truck.
