Retrax one cover

How much will I loose in my bed when it rolls up? I have a 5.8 bed on my 1500 GMC Sierra

 

Also looking at Extang Solid fold I just returned a bak flip VP because it leaks to much

I have a retrax one. You will lose about a 1.5 feet at most. You also still have some space underneath the box. I think it's worth it but it all depends on your application. If you were going to stick a jon boat in the back then no it's not worth it because the small bed is already small. I have the retrax one with the bed rug and I think of it like a big trunk. I love it.

The Retrax was my first choice but my budget didn't allow it since I was going to do the Amp Research Powersteps too. I went with the BakFlip as a second choice and totally satisfied. If $ wasn't an issue, no doubt the Retrax!

I did the retrax on my new 18. Its about as water resistent as it gets. I haven't sealed up my tail gate yet and I am impressed.
