Not sure on the weight, his bike has no problem spinning them. But he got a really good deal on a pre-built wheel and tire package from atvaftermarkets.com

Hmm, I never heard of that site before. I will check it out. I really want the STI HD matte rims for my Grizzly. But I think I'm just gonna get tires for now. Lol.

One thing great about the grizzlys is the factory wheels are some of the lightest around. Well at least my stock 660 alloys, they're stupid light weight and the 26" zillas on them are the lightest tire in its class. So there is no real reason to need new wheels other than to look fancy haha. I know my old sportsman alloys with mudlites, and Honda steelies with bearclaws were a lot heavier.

I was thinking about that earlier. I saw somewhere that the Grizzly's stock wheels are light. So, really you don't need to get a heavy rim. Only reason I was going too is to just have it to look better, just be different from the rest.

If you wanna have stock tires as a backup set then that's a reason to buy aftermarket wheels unless you buy some stockers on Craigslist for a good price

I was looking at bigger tires too and I liked the lightweight design but they looked like a mud tire. Didn't look like they would hook too good on hardpack. I haven't done any serious trail riding but the stock tires on this Outty actually hookup real good on hard and soft pack but I doubt they are very good in mud

Those tires don't do very good in real mud. Average trail tire. Man, what are your riding terrain? The Zilla's are a great tire. Great mud tire & a good trail tire. If I was you, get 28s in 14s.

If you ride a lot of trails, I would consider Maxxis Bighorn's or ITP BlackWater Evolutions.

I'm either gonna get BW Evos or Zillas.

I haven't been looking lately cause I gotta get my truck back together lol but I do mud and hardpack plus I want streetability so there is no best tire for that. I think I did see the black waters and they looked like they would hook good

Maxxis bighorns are the best all around tire IMO
