What's the purpose of the "Blank Page" in the DIC?

Sometimes it's nice to have the screen clear. Some people don't want to look at info all the time.

What would you honestly think the purpose of the blank screen is? It's just a blank screen.. Like turning the display off

You can remove the blank screen in the configuration. I realized this when I was trying to find the instant gas mileage screen. You can add/remove screens from the list so you only have the one's you will use available.
