Verify if 2004 Sierra is a Denali

I was looking to purchase a Denali but when I ran the vin check it does't say if it's a Denali. I went to go look at the truck personally has all the bells and whistles the mirrors tilt down when reversing and have the turn signal light on there as well, has leather heated seats, has the towing capability. I looked at a guide that was posted here but it does not help because I checked other Denali's and the 6th and 8th character are different as well. I would appreciate the help, and I am sorry if It has been posted already but I tried different searches on here with no luck finding any recent.

Do you have a picture of truck? Has it been debadged? If not and it doesn't say Denali on the front door, it probably isn't a Denali. My old Yukon XL had all of the bells and whistles you list and more and was only an SLT.

Not a denali. A denali will be built in canada, awd, have the LQ4 6.0, extended cab, and have quadrasteer

 

Also Denali's had light grey or cashmere interior, wood grain, a slightly different front end, and a different console.

Thank you guys, glad I did not do this purchase yet, he was looking for 8500 went down to 7k because he needed it. Also he had a blue tittle that was not on his name but the company he worked for and was registered in Arkansas and he took me to a lady who was a public notary and said they have done business with him and all I would have to pay is the $417 for tittle transfer and taxes plus the state inspection. That would of been a expensive lesson to learn, thank you guys so much!

Not until 2005. When the Sierra Denali went to crew cab it got the LQ9, all Denali SUV's in that generation had LQ4's

I'm pretty sure you can't get parts anymore for the rear ends in the quadrasteer trucks. I've heard of people swapping in normal axles when they break.

 

Believe it or not the quadrasteer system is actually pretty reliable..
