Waiting on 2500HD but hold up on Snow Plow Prep

I've had a 2015 Silverado 2500HD on order since mid December. Dealer says they are being told that the build is on hold because of the Snow Plow Prep Package. Supposedly they are building diesels with the sppp but they have stopped building gassers with the sppp. Obviously they built some this way already because there are a lot of them on dealer lots already. Anyone have any clue what might be going on? I am kind of frustrated. Would really like to get a look at this thing.

There was a service update out for a fuse block issue on gas trucks with plow prep. Not sure what the hold up is...if I had to guess, either the fuse black or an alternator supply issue...we have ordered a few and they are all plow prepless except the diesels. I tried ordering one for me and it kicked back for plow prep.

Have them try today. We sent an order for my next truck and it was excepted with VYU plow prep and 6.0.

Interesting, the Denali (2500) owners' manual makes no reference to the Plow Package. (Its in the table of contents, but the pages to which its referenced do not exist) The 2500 owners' manual has it. I wonder why there is no mention in the Denali Version
