Ordered my 2015 DMAX Sierra today

Just had to share I'm really pumped. I got A CCSB white and coco, SLT, the usual options plus the rear entertainment for the kiddo's. I was hoping se one could tell me if the driver alert resets every time you cycle the key? I was hoping it could be left off and when I'm on the hwy I could turn it on. Is that the case or will it have to be turned off every time?

Congratulations! Sounds like one sweet HD! I am guessing you got a 2500 4WD? 18 or 20" wheels?

Driver alerts can be enabled or disabled in the menus. They don't "reset" when the key is cycled. You turn them on or off as you see fit and they'll stay set that way until you change the settings.

Not that I know of. I've been totally reliant on my dealer which has been kind of a bummer. Seems like you should have app or at least a way to track it. I mean look At UPS FEDEX etc..... I'm dropping $60k can't I track my order somehow? Come on GM!

Congrats on the new truck. You can send an e-mail to [email protected] or message them on Facebook with your 6 character order number (get it from your dealer) for status updates. I think all they ask is you not inquire more than once a week as the status doesn't change that often.

 

You're going to love the '15. The new hydraulic body mounts combined with the new weatherstripping/seals makes for a really quiet and comfortable ride, but not TOO quiet and comfortable. Perfect balance for a 3/4 | 1 ton.
