March Pricing

I have just talked to my dealer about the incentives. After realizing I didnt qualify for all them they said I was able to get an invoice discount on the particular truck I was looking at.

They are offering me a base line 4x4, v6, for 28 240, two years of oil changes, 800 litre gas card and 0 percent financing over four years.

Seems like a good deal to me but I am curious what you guys think.

This is Canadian dallors aswell.

Not sure I understand but wanted to confirm that you purchased a $48K MSRP truck for $44K?

plus TT&L walkout. yes. truck price was 42. the difference was they gave me retail for my trade in. kbb trade in value was 3k less than what they gave me.

The March incentives are pretty much set in stone. Four of the dealers would not budge on the supplier price minus rebates. I ended up going to a much larger dealer and they offer me an additional $500 off all the incentives ( not sure where they got it from).

If you're wanting really get a great deal this month, I feel you're going to need a trade that you can get them to give you more on.

I should also mention its a 2014 Sierra double cab.

I can only speak to Canadian trucks as I'm a Canadian dealer... old stock double cabs invoiced before October 31st, 2013 get an extra $1,000 off. They all get the $4,250 stackable with 0% for 48 months. You may qualify for another $1,000 if you own a truck in your name ($2,000 instead of $1,000 if you pay cash and forgo the 0%) If it has option code PDU, you get a $1,600 rebate, if it does not have PDU it gets $1,000 off. So, depending on invoice date and equipment, GM is offering up to $8,850 in incentives plus the gas card and oil changes... and that doesn't tap the dealer's margin yet. Even a plain truck should have at least a $2,000 margin discount for no trade.

All 2014 models get 2 years/40K of oil changes to a max of 4 and that 800L fuel card does NOT give you 800L of gas, it gives you 40 cents a liter off the next 800L... an amount that saves you $320 bucks.

I won't comment to the deal you are getting as your dealer does deserve to make a profit, there is no shame in that... but are you sure YOU want a baseline truck?

Has anyone gotten the pop-up $1000 off coupon online when building a truck this month?

More than likely it isn't stackable with the current cash incentives anyway. The $1000 pop-up private offers were not stackable in February with the (then) Presidents Day incentives, so it is probably the same this month with the current truck month cash incentives.

GM only allows one 'private offer' per purchase and they usually code one of the monthly cash incentives as a private offer, so you can only use one or the other, but not both. Last month the Presidents Day Cash incentive was coded as a private offer, so you could either use it, or the pop-up coupon, but not both.

The purpose of the pop-up offer is soley to get you to go into a dealership, thinking you are going to get an extra $1000 off, but more than likely you will find out it isn't the case.

Well I am done (I think). Found a dealer that would give me current incentives, added $1000 to my trade in, and tossed in side steps (need them for the kids).

I tossed that offer out to a couple of dealers and none were willing to do any better.

Dodge tried dumping incentives around 07 and lowered prices... I lost many sales because "ford has 3500 in rebates" or "GM has big rebates" when in reality the bottom line price was lower on the dodges... The American buyer just likes to live in the fairy tale land of thousands off.... That's why we get stuck dealing on rebates and holdback

I got $7,255 off MSRP of my 6.2L SLT DC. I'm very happy with the deal I got

I ended up paying 29 427. I was mistaken before about the price. I wish I had seen the posts before going ahead but I feel like its an alright deal. I did get the mylinx option but thats about it. Thats without the truck discount. The Msrp on the website came to 36 750 so thats nearly 20 percent off. Oh thats without the truck discount, $0 down and no trade. I actually really like the vinyl floors, talk about easy to clean!

Thanks for the advice

I'll share what i paid. I bought one 3/6 and took delivery on 3/1. 2014 LT crew 6.5' bed. All Star package, integrated brake controller, 4x4, not Z71. sticker price was around 44K. After their Supplier pricing, truck cash, and everything starting price on the truck was around 35.5K. I was trading my 10 LTZ Crew and knew what i wanted to finance. I gave them that #. First offer on trade was 22,750, i also owed about 7K. We were about 5K different after tax and title from what i told them i wanted to finance. I said i dont care how you get there but this is where i want to be with nothing else down but the trade equity. They got pretty darn close (a lot closer than i thought they would get as i didnt think we would get close and i would keep the 2010 oil burner). I walked out financing 18.7K out the door. I dont know how great of a deal or not it is...but i felt good about it and love the new truck so far. No issues.

I'll post my deal. I wanted a Double Cab in black on black with the LT trim, All-Star Package with the 5.3L and 3.42 rear end. I wanted the 8" screen without nav. Building my truck on Chevy's site resulted in a typical MSRP around $36500. I found several near me and started emailing all the dealerships. Ended up getting the best trade in value of all the major sites (Edmunds, NADA, KBB) on my trade and got the truck for $28000 plus TTL. I was extremely pleased with the deal considering the truck I bought also had the factory navigation option and exhaust tip on top of everything else I wanted.

Ok so I have TERRIBLE credit, but needed to get out of the loan I had on my 2013 so I started looking at the 14's. When I started I was looking at an 18% APR which is retarded. Did some research and here's what I found, applied, and ended up with a z71 4x4 LT with trailer brake, only major option I wanted and couldn't get was Nav. Any way TALK FINAL PRICE with your dealer, do not talk payments. I searched 5 dealers in the Houston area and went with the one most willing to negotiate, got him to quote me a price via email before we ever talked credit, and payment. They used the APR incentives to get my APR to 5.9% instead of getting the sticker rebates I got a lower rate from GMAC. Here's why that worked better; he had already quoted me a final sale price based on the options I wanted, what he had figured was I would get the rebates which would bring sale price down, he was wrong, because of that they sold the truck to me under invoice with an interest rate I could feel better about. The dealership didn't lose any money because of my trade, and down payment, but they also didn't rape me on sales price, so everyone walked away happy. I literally paid $6000 less for the truck, and got a better interest rate by about 13% for the same truck I priced at 4 other dealerships that we're not willing to give me a quote online. I will never haggle for another vehicle, it made the process SOOO much easier. Also blue book your trade, know what others are getting for theirs in your area, and do a fair market search for the truck you want with the options you want BEFORE you ever talk to anyone at a dealership. This may not be the right thread for this post, but wanted to share my experience because I am one happy camper in my new truck!!

What did they sell you the truck for minus the trade?
