2008 silverado speaker issue

I have a 2007 Silverado w/t trim with electric windows and locks and factory CD player and I'm having an issue with the seat belt/door chime and all speakers not being very loud at all. When I turn the radio volume is all the way up it only sounds like its under half way. Does this sound there's a problem with the head unit or module or something? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
