Looking for a good price to pay for a brand new 2014 sierra Denali. I wanted the 6.2 with all the upgrades and options. I wanted a price to shoot for when negotiating at dealer..no trade in. Thanks

52,000 might be ok...I herd some get it for 50,000 but not without allot of struggling and back and forth with dealer...40,000 seems a little far off....but I have no clue about mark ups on these trucks

employee or gm supplier is the best price you can get. after you tack on the rebates from the factory you get it around 50-52k. mine was 56k exactly msrp, otd was around 52k with supplier pricing. gmsupplierdiscount.com

My truck isn't a Denali, but it was priced like one. It's an All Terrain with the 6.2 and most of the goodies. Sticker was just over 54k. I worked at it and finally got them to where my out the door was right at 50k, and that included the clear bra and a leveling kit, which they priced at $1500 for both. For a fully loaded denali, I'd say a good price is probably what others have said, out the door of around 52ish. My price put the price before options, taxes and fees about 10k below MSRP.

10k under msrp sounds doable right now. http://www.dennisdillon.com/new/GMC/2014-GMC-Sierra+1500-boise-idaho-079dd8ce0a0a00496da14f1e3a4b8763.htm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Something about that doesn't seem right. Wonder if it's a misprint? The 6.2 is $2k alone, another $1k for the White Diamond, plus it's a 4x4.

This one is $56k

And they have another listed at the same price as the one you listed with a 5.3 ??? :dunno:

Misprint? Why so? These trucks are not exactly hot sellers. Some dealers just want to move them as lots are full. Call & ask if cash is king. If so, write a check.

Only saying that because they have SLTs at the same price and have 5.3s priced higher than the 6.2. The people entering the information onto the websites aren't web developers, usually an admin person. Not saying it couldn't be the price but I am willing to bet the supplier price on that "$43K" 4x4 Denali with the 6.2 and White Diamond paint + options is more than $43K.

Plus, if you believe everyone on the "deal" they got for their truck and how they pulled a fast one over on the dealership, there wouldn't be any dealers in business. The dealership is like Vegas; everyone comes back saying they came out on top, yet Vegas still rakes in the $$$.

That did seem odd, so I checked using the gmc.com dealer inventory search, looks like due to other options on the 5.3 (sunroof, trailer brake) and no options on the 6.2, the msrp's for those 2 are pretty close. I can't link directly to the gmc.com search results(just search for zip 83709 if you want to see the options on them). The 3rd one they have listed appears to not be on the lot yet, so I don't think they update their discounted price until they have it in stock. When I bought my truck, the web pricing was right, but that's not to say it always will be:)

Nobody is getting a new Denali for less than $50,000 - nobody.

People lying about what they paid on truck forums is like people lying on what they run in the 1/4 on muscle car forums - it runs rampant it seems.

Employee pricing would have put that truck sub $50K OTD. Employee pricing would have knocked off around $6.5K depending on options, and then current incentives of another $3.5K or so would give you about $10K off MSRP, before any negotiating. Pretty sure GM just added some additional employee bonus cash too. Did not see that yesterday, but a visit to the site today shows a new Employee Bonus Cash offer.

No it isn't. Supplier price is the GM invoice price plus a $150 program fee.

Employee pricing is 4% under Invoice.

On a $46K truck, it is about a $1,700 difference.

MSRP (sticker) $47,225

Supplier price $43.934 ($3291 off MSRP)

Employee price $42,227 ($4998 off MSRP)

A difference of $1,707.
