Sierra z71 2014 ROUGH

I personally would rather have the black Tennoco shocks off of a non Z71 than these factory Rancho shocks. I hate these shocks. As soon as I save enough money I'm putting in Bilstien 4600 HD's. Everyone should get these shocks with a stock height set-up they are amazing. My complaint with the Rancho shocks is they're too spongy and don't settle down the vehicle bounce quick enough after hitting bumps in the road.

Mine was like that for thew first day.. Then I discoved every tire was pummped up to 55lbs.

Which is what they do to ship them. Dealer never adjusted it back when it was unloaded from the hauler.

I just purchased a Z71 LTZ coming from a 2WD LTZ and the Z71 is twice a smooth. Tires at 35 psi on both.

My 2WD LTZ rode smooth on highway, but bounced a lot on any type of bump. Railroad tracks were horrible and I know what you mean about those ripples in the road. My previous truck, a 2011 2WD LT Silverado rode better (and so did my 2001 Tundra). I replaced the shocks with Bilstein 5100s and now it handles much better. Wife said after the install that she no longer feels like a bobble head.

I put bilsteins on my 2008 ext cab 4x4 4.8l and it rode much better then the stock black shocks. I had my brother in law and fater in law use then on their trucks and they loved them also.
