How does it mount to the dash? Doesn't just sit on top or does it clip on somehow? Velcro down? Just curious for when you open the windows. Wouldn't want someone to pull on it a bit and have it catch air in the truck.

It velcros down. I use about six little pieces of Velcro to hold mine and it doesn't move. I have one in my track car held down the same way and it stays put at 160 mph with both windows down.

I just tuck it into the window and dash and just let it sit on top of the dash. I don't like glue where there is heat and could make it sticky to the dash. I like it a lot . Mine is black cover that matches the dash.

Does anyone know what the cost to replace a dashboard now a days? Some times you have to paint it and it seems to be part of the vehicle.
