what to use on 2014 wheel house liners?

i spent a few hours detailing the truck this weekend and the one item i didnt do was the wheel house liners. they are a cloth/fiber/i dont know what material and i wasnt sure what to use. i was hoping someone on here had a good proven suggestion. i use all adams products so something from their line-up would be great. thanks in advance.

Not sure if they need anything.

I get a lot of mud on our lane this time of year, and of course it transfers up into the wheel wells. I was so worried as to how clean I could get them being this is the first time dealing with this cloth/fiber or whatever the heck it is.

To my amazement just hosing them down gets them really clean. Not a speck of mud anywhere, and they don't discolor.

I always had to literally wash the dirt/mud from the older ('98 Silverado) metal wheel wells. These new ones are really something how well they come clean.

I was wondering the same thing after cleaning the truck this weekend. They came clean when I used the pressure washer on them but all kinds of matter tends to stick to or in them. I was thinking that seeing that they are some type of cloth fiber like substance that after I clean them, hit them with some Scotch guard and see if the waterproofing properties of that stuff makes them a little more resistant to collecting various kinds of crap and hopefully makes them clean up a little easier…. Going to try one first and see what happens.

I contacted Adams and they recommended using their car shampooand fender brush. If something more aggressive is needed possibly use their carpet cleaner.

They clean up fairly easily as long as they stay well maintained. A pressure washer is fine if they need some deep cleaning, just don't get too close to the material with a strong blast from the pressure washer and you'll be fine.

Note post # 82 and 84. The 7-13 gm accessory liners can be made to fit. they clean up and detail nicely.

I truly envy those that have situations that allow them the luxury of detailing to this level. I live on gravel roads and just being able to keep the pickup clean for 24 hrs is welcome. Even if I cleaned up everything down to every piece of dirt on the wheel well liners, they would be dirty the first drive. Detailing the interior is about the only detailing that means much of anything in my situation, and it is tough to make that last very long.

Im usually not a picky neat freak, and i only see detailing as a way to protect my investment. I hate doing it so i buy the products that make the task easier. At least for as long im the caretaker. What happens after that is out of my control.

I hear ya. I grew up on such roads and have been trying to avoid them since my first new GTO. My truck leaves the pavement for pasture work (8 miles off pavement one way) and hunting etc.; Knowing that I have the bug and will spend hours later to clean up till next trip. I keep my old Sub around for the really dirty local work .

I've had mud in the wheel wells a couple times... I usually hand wash the truck. So I pre-wet the wheel well liners, then wash the truck, then hose out the wells with a hard spray... Clean! Nice and black...
