Bird Feeders....What a mess!

Back years ago when I was dating, my "then" girlfriend had a bird feeder in front of her house in a tree. The birds would fly from across the street to the bird feeder and my car was parked on the street under their "Flightpath". I asked her to take it down because it made my car a mess. She did and of course my wife never lets me forget she had to take it down so my car wouldn't get messed on.

 

Now years later, we have a neighbor, an elderly lady who has several bird feeders in a tree next to our driveway, and my truck is getting bombed.

 

I wonder how I can keep the birds from flying over my truck?

Shotgun blasts lol. Dont think there is much you can do besides a garage or overhang.

Oh yeah, out up a fake owl on your roof or fense as close to them as possible. Also, realistic rubber snakes. Both eat birds. Birds know this.

I have a few sarcastic replies but I'll stick the serious one. Have you talked to the neighbor about possibly moving the feeder away from your driveway?

I started shooting at them with my pellet rifles less problems now

Get a bear..... Seriously, we have to have feeders down by a certain date or bears take them,especially off the porch. plowking

Send the wife over for coffee and ask to move it. Or you could talk to her yourself and help her move it and put it on a post or another tree on the other side of the yard. It's all in the approach and negotiations. Good luck!

Shoot down the feeders with a bb gun or move them at night when no one is looking.
