Oh I will for sure. It'll probably be a while before I get a chance to get it done though.

One thing I thought of, is will the GPS be able to get signal there?

Hey Danny, I had a new idea for that spot in the overhead storage area. I think a reverse camera would be pretty sweet in that area too.

Yes that would be very cool, if you don't mind spending some $, the Insight CTS monitor can accept signal from a backup cam.

Actually I believe it's a CTS you posted in 234.

That's actually cheaper than I thought it would be. I think if I do it I'm going to do the camera too. I think that'll be a pretty sweet setup.

So today I installed my new steering wheel. Install was a breeze. Ended up buying a wheel puller that doesn't work with my truck, but I got lucky and wiggled the wheel off without hardly any effort.

Everything works and lights up again. Definitely worth it.

That's always a plus when everything works like it's supposed to.

Yea, it worked before, but I was worried something wouldn't afterward. Nothing to worry about though. I'm just happy the lights work now, and I don't have to deal with that stupid steering wheel cover any longer. Edited by Daryl Z71

Holy cow what a difference! This truck is so fortunate to have you as its owner.

And I always did like that style more than the rounded one of the 99-02's. Hopefully I can make the change down the road.

Took off the bug shield today. I only left it this long because there is a dent in the hood. Going to try and get a dent puller, and pull it out later on.

Have it PDR'd. 100$ a dent (usually)

I would but there's a good bit of body work that needs done. Dad and I plan to do all of it later so buying the tool will help us later on too.

Get a stud gun don't get the old time dent puller that you have to drill a hole. Then stud gun welds a stud to the metal after you remove the paint from the area and the kit should come with a snatch bar and studs, a cheap one should run you from $150 to $300.

Finally catching up on your build... Very nice. Well thought out and will out last almost anything else out there. Looks a lot cleaner without the bug shield too.
