Are the armrests leather in the cloth seat packages?

They have a leather look, but I was wondering if anyone knew if they are leather, or just a vinyl like the rest of the squishy parts of the door panel?

I believe they are the hide of a creature called the nauga.

The nauga is the hairless male of the species, prized for its skins, used to make naugahyde while the female, known as the faux, is highly sought after for it's thick, luxurious fur, often seen in 1970s vintage Thunderbirds and of course, on Sesame Street. I am taking up donations to ban their senseless, brutal slaughter. You see, they are very trusting, and, even in the wild can be walked up to and picked up to be petted, (they love that) which hunters easily do, then either club them or break their necks.

Can you spend 50 grand on a 1500 with cloth interior? My leather heated and cooled seats equipped in my LTZ was only 40 Gs. I too am a supporter of "Save the Naugas" and got leather. Since I love a good steak it seemed senseless to waste a good hide.

I may be mistaken, but GM has been more environmentally conscious and I think stopped the senseless slaughter of the great North American Nauga for their hydes and has been using Pleather in it's place for a number of years. The Pleather numbers are plentiful on the plains and GM has pledged plenty toward the plight of the Nauga as well as pleasing the plethora of Pleather environmentalists.

No not real. Probably made out of recycled water bottles like the rest of the seat SOUNDS like it is made out of.
