So bedliner, side rails and tint are going to be done. Really need it to be louder(too quiet for me). What should I go with? Dont want to spend alot of money but dont want to get something cheesy either.

Get that bed Line-X'd first off. Look at MBRP, Part #: S5084409.

Cmike, Taylor Muffler does a great job and reasonable. They will do mine when I'm ready, but first is tires and level kit then exhaust for me.

To you two from Austin, got any good dealer recommendations? Found one that was willing to give a good deal?

Got a great deal from Henna. It was all timing with the right price for the packages I was looking for. They have great online info with complete window stickers for comparison and large inventory. The web sales guys are good to work with. I've bought several trucks, a Tahoe and Suburban there as well. Their service staff goes out of their way to make me happy - fixed my radio knob illumination even they weren't supposed to.

At least you can use their web site to compare.

Now back to the OP...there is also a good muffler shop in Round Rock that welded my Banks exhaust on my 2011. He also installs custom Magnaflow...if interseted, I can look it up for ya

Tint , shocks, tires and bed protection of your choice. I recommend line-x or bed rug if you are putting cover on it. I like the Undercover for that.

I would leave off the steps unless you really need them. Truck just looks cleaner and higher with out steps. Ride in some ones lifted truck first as some do not like the ride of such. Bilsteins 5100s will lift the nose and save the ride.

For sound, I'd recommend Corsa Sport exhaust. They sound great.

The first thing is don't drive it like a camaro. Lol. I went from a 600 hp daily driver to my truck. My sports car is just a weekend toy now. Apart from that, let your needs justify your additions. Why put a liner if you will never haul anything in the back? (not saying you won't) it all depends on how you want your truck to look.

My suggestions and they are opposite;

Spray in bed liners are ugly IMO, I usually run mine naked. Plastic ones seem like they do not like to lay down. However scratches in the bed never bother me.

I hate tint, makes bad colors with my polarized Oakleys.

Did you get the 6.2 if so the louder exhaust makes sense. Not sure I would do it with he 5.3.

My minimum upgrades would be in this order. Nitto Terra Grapplers, 2 1/2" RC lift and match the tires then the step rail. I went with the round step rail from GM buy honestly I wish I had went after market. I think there are better looking rails.

I am 5' 11" and wouldn't need a step rail on stock height, off road it will drag over humps. Put the lift then the step. The wife is 5' 6" and think she needs a set rail.

It's a truck. If you are not going to put something in the bed you could have got an SUV or crossover (LOL), so the one thing I think most all will recommend no matter what they do with theirs is a bed protection. Despite what the one guy said, most like them and a spray in will add value to it later they also don't get really hot.

Weather Tech floor mats are great. The factory ones are a nice rubber so you don't slip at all, but they don't cover nearly enough. It won't take you long to chose if you want these. Unless you always are on pavement it will make life easier.

After that you have to figure out your plans and then come with more specific questions. Most of which will have long topics already done and take forever to read.

It did come with a drop in bedliner(should of mentioned that) so I think I will deal with that later. I guess I need to level it out. I see alot of people using the rough country front only 2" kit. Anybody have any problems with it? Is it something I can do myself, do I need a second set of hands, or should I pay someone to do it?

I think the other thing I want to do is the exhaust. After driving the camaro SS for 13 years, the truck is way too quiet and I dont like that. I dont need it real loud where people can here me coming a mile away but i would like to be able to here something when I step on the gas.

Also, the dealer apparently cant find the second key and key fob. They had a key company make a second key but they were unable to program a new key fob.

Cmike I'm going with the 2.5 to start and only going to install just the 2in part to see how it looks. If I like it then I will leave it as is but if not I will install the rest of it. If you want to get it install the guys out at Reese's in Burnet quoted me $375 to sell/install it. That does not include the front alignment.
