2014 silverado wondering how do I know if I have navigation?

I just purchased 2014 texas edition silverado LT pickup and looked on sticker paperwork options and it does not say anything about navigation.. Although on my 8 inch screen it has icons for audio,phone, and the navigation but when I click navigation icon it just displays a compass. Does this mean I need to subscribe to something or does it mean I don't have navigation? Sales person didn't explain any of this and I just now figured out how to set up Sirius xm but confused on what to do for navigation... Thanks for any help

Nav would be on the window sticker $795 option. Thats just a compass if I recall.

Well that bites. Assumed they all came with navigation now. Read up a little on some forums and seen if ya didnt have it installed from factory then ya can't get it at all? Seems like as much as technology has advanced that this wouldn't be such luxurious feature for vehicles.

I gotcha. No big deal. Just seeing what all I have in the truck. It's not really one of my big concerns so didn't care if I did or didn't have navigation but if I did was going to put it to use

when I test drove a new 2014 today the sales person told me all have the icon for Nav but if you pay for the Nav ($795) it uses the internal software , if its not on your option list then its use is for OnStar with turn by turn directions if you subscribe to the OnStar
