That's normal marketing stuff. I've got an 04 Sierra 2500hd extended cab long bed SLT and at least twice a year I get a letter saying they want me to trade my truck because they want it on the lot. They don't know about all the problems I have with it because if they did they wouldn't want it to be associated with them.

Often enough. Pretty much anything that looks like bulk mail gets tossed without being opened though. The dealer sends me stuff at least a couple times per quarter and it isn't from them, usually it's from someplace out of state. Sometimes I think some dealers get desperate- I got an offer letter from a Chevy dealer about 20 minutes from here that was in the format of a printed out email from a sales manager to a salesman instructing him that they "needed" my 2011 and to do whatever was possible to get me into a 2014. This was earlier this year.

Guess mine is too old, no one wants my truck. Good, hope it stays that way! Best dang truck out there IMO.
