Gm told me the same thing on the new exhaust. Its in production now and should be available by the end of June. My dealer has me first on the list to get mine replaced when the part comes in.

So does this cover all models or just the 6.2 versions?

Mine in the 6 speed 2016 Chevy Tahoe Lt. Gm is paying 2 months car payments for me because of the delayed release of the part.

and is this supposed to fix the v4 mode or booming/pressure sensation as well? I'm assuming you have the 5.3L engine?

They told me the engineers came out with this part to remedy that issue. I guess well see. If I get the part before anyone else chimes in, ill definitely give you an update and part #.

@Ozzii, can you ask your dealer for a reference to information on the new exhaust components? I'd like to get my dealer on-board with getting the parts ASAP.

I asked for a part # but they dont have it yet. Your dealer should have the info that the part is coming though. As soon as I get word on the actual part number, ill post is asap. Its in production now, so suppose to be arriving to the dealership at the end of June.

I wonder what this means for a Yukon Denali which was scheduled for production THIS WEEK... Guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks!

Has anyone switched out their Oem 20" Tires for a different set for a better ride quality? Im thinking about getting a set of the Michelin Premier Ltx. The Oem Continentals are driving me crazy. Ive been to the dealer 3 times to have them balanced and every time the Tahoe seems to ride worse. They actually replaced the back rear tire last week but I think they still arent balanced properly. ;(

I tell ya, my tires seemed fine, but when my Tahoe went in for service on the exhaust, the dealer decided to balance the tires and they havent been the same since ;( Even after 2 more trips to correct it, I can tell they still arent right. Bring it in Monday to my friends tire shop to see what they can find.

I have OEM 20" Goodyear Wranglers on my 2015 LTZ. Have about 18k miles on them. As soon as the wear down some more I'm replacing with the Michelin Premier LTX. The Wrangler is a good tire but rides rough as a cobb. I'm a big advocate of Michelins. Have been using them for several years on all my vehicles.

Not no but NO! I have 22's on mine and it is still not fixed. However, they have not been able to work on mine since March because the vehicle is in arbitration. I go to my hearing next week and I am just praying I win and they have to give me back my money for this piece of crap. Not only is it a piece of crap, it is the second piece of crap. A 2015 and now a 2016 with nothing but problems.

Well I got the tires re balanced at my buddys shop and its driving much better now. He said the dealer added so many counter balance weight to the tires and it was was the cause of the shaking and crappy ride. He thinks my dealer need to re calibrate there computers. Wifes car was doing the same thing after a so called tire balance at the same dealer.

Did they balance the tires below the 15rf rating?
