i just called to get my second oil change and they informed me that they have 3 recalls they need to fix when I bring it in. It is a 2014 SLE double cab 4 wheel drive model. I already had 2 recalls fixed, so this will make 5 total since I bought the truck in January. My question is, I know that there is a transfer case recall that i need to have fixed, but what are the other two??

I'm not sure I like the idea of this recall. Cutting out the connectors and wiring it direct with a jumper wire. No more taking out the seats without cutting wires, because there won't be any connectors anymore. :shakehead:

Glad my dealer took care of this recall when I took in my truck for a oil change and tire rotation yesterday....NOT.

Wiring repair is within the seat itself. You will still be able to remove the seat. Repair of the seat maybe a bitch.

Oh ok. I just skimmed through the bulletin and thought it was going to be the same procedure as the traverses and enclaves since it used the same parts.

What is the transfer case recall all about?

Link with details in thread.

Apparently, the transfer case can just randomly "shift" to neutral. If no parking brake set, could roll. Or could lose ability to accelerate if happens while driving.

Haha, that's quite appropriate.

They fried my ecm when they did the reprogramming. Took a week to get a new one in, they couldnt understand why I was mad they had my truck a week and a half. I'm a contractor so I use my truck daily, I put that loaner to good use hauling my tools around

I saw that you can pull your WIN and check all recalls for it - where do you "look your VIN" up ?
