Do you know the part number?

Not anymore. I think they were listed some place in this thread or in another one on the same topic. Sorry.

Has anyone installed these metal skid plates on a 2014: gm part # 23176881

Everything I’m finding on gm parts sites after trying confirm fitment says they fit 2015+ Silverados but not 2014 which doesn’t make sense. They should be the same trucks.

I found the two front skids on ebay for $60 used but basically new. I was really surprised to find out they are aluminum.

My factory plastic skid was held on with 6 M10x1.5x25 bolts through the metal support brackets. The metal skids need 8 bolts So I bought a few at napa for $0.98 each.

I’m debating whether to get the transfer case skid or not.

Napa bolt vs factory. I had to use my big impact gun to run the bolts in that were not clear from the factory. Otherwise these bolted right on. Great product.

I have the same set that I bought for my 16. Need to get them to the local Line X dealer to see how much to get them sprayed. Then find time to get them on the 18. Bought extra bolts when I got them, were you able to reuse the bolts that came from the factory?

I re-used the 6 factory bolts. I needed 2 more. 4 more if you install the transfer case skid.

Why line-x? These are aluminum, they wont rust. The are shiny and cool and lightweight as-is. I contemplated paint but said F-it and threw them on.

There is a post on here from a couple of years ago where someone Rhino lined them, looked good and they really blended in with the bottom of the truck. Line X is just down the street from work, so it would just be convenient to use them. My truck is a Z71, so I already have the transfer skid plate, which is painted black. Bought 4 extra bolts just to be safe.
