Two Red wires

I have a 2003 Silverado. I recently just bought the truck. I was looking by the fuse block under the hood and noticed two red wires sticking out the side. I was wondering if anyone knows what they are for? It looks like they should bolt onto a terminal or something. New to this forum.. Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question..

That would be my guess but wasnt the 03 prewired hardwire?

yes but still had to add a fuse and power up a wire

I know there is a blank fuse in the fuse box for 12v for the trailer if needed. I would think those wires are already ran to the back and all it would need is a fuse to replace the dummy fuse. At least that was my understanding.

They were in my 04. Just had to add the big fuse. Pop that dummy fuse out and put in a 40 amp
