Just ordered one. Curious on any opinions out there. Have only heard good things from anyone who has one. They are running a labor day sale and I ordered one of the I LE models at 50% off.

We have had a Sleep Number for several years now. Bought it after I had back surgery. I love it. I like my side harder that the wife. I sleep well and the back feel great.

Yep, on my second one. Moved the queen size to the guest bedroom and upgraded to a king size.

Now guests don't want to leave!!!

Expensive, but worth it. Best sleep ever.

We tried the sleep number, albeit in store only, but on the lower settings, it definitely had a feel to it like that of a cheap air mattress. This was almost 6 years ago and on practically the lowest setting, but that's where my wife said she would set it. We wound up with a Tempurpedic, can't remember model, and the adjustable base. They do run warmer, the old ones anyway but is very comfortable and a great improvement over a box spring and spring mattress. Either way, spending some extra money on a nice quality bed is a great and worthwhile investment.

Quick update. Came in yesterday. Set it up ourselves. Very easy, takes bout 1 1/2 hours. Decent night sleep on first night. Im anxious to see once i get used to it, maybe After a month or two.

I know our Tempurpedic took about two months to "break in". It was horribly uncomfortable in the beginning. Hard as rock. once it did though it was great. How is the memory foam top to it? soft already or needs some time to break in? We are putting serious thought into a sleep number bed to replace our bed. Thanks.

Our model has the pillowtop, not memory foam. Its very nice and soft. Last night wasnt a good one. I was called out due to heavy rains and roads flooding, so i was out from 12-2 am and then back up at 5:30 to go back to work. Definately feels comfy though.

had one and it sucked!!!!!!! worst investment like sleeping on a air mattress and later you will find out the sides of the bed suck you always fall into them since there is a gap from the matress and the foam padding they put in. Their return policy also sucks, you have to pay to ship it back, do you know how much it costs to fedex that back since you cant just return it to a store due to their corporate policy cost me like $200.

Also mine seemed to be losing pressure during the middle of the night so I'd wake up to the pump turning on.

Had ours for a few weeks now and I love it. Sleeping better for sure. Yeah shipping is expensive, they disclose their policy up front, no suprises there.

I was really interested in one.. checked it out in the store.. LOVED it.. we actually even ordered it.. spent like $4500, but then started checking out reviews when we got home.. Heard horror stories about mold and that if you have issues, you have to ship it back to them.. so that was a real deal breaker for us.. Decided to cancel the order but they refused to return the $150 mattress protector, even though it hadn't even been opened.. Don't think I'll be giving them my money again.
