Clearplex windshield protection

Has anyone installed a windshield protection film? I hear a lot of good things about Clearplex but would like to hear some truck owners thoughts.

Never heard of it. Honestly I have a tough time believing it wouldn't fade/haze over time.

When I drop the cash to get a new windshield I will be doing something like this. I already have 2 big cracks, 3 small rock chips, and 1 huge chip. My whole life I've only had 2 rock chips until I got this truck...

My sister bought a Jeep and through her dealership they offered a protection plan where they warranty her window against any scratches, chips, or cracks for the life of her vehicle. She has to go in ever 6-8 weeks and have them apply something. I'm guessing that's what the ClearX HD is. They would not share what brand they use.

I will also add that her window is as clear as the day she bought it and its about 2 years old.

That might be worth it as I've already had to replace my windshield. Might have to see about that when I go in for tint.
